Kids on Mullum Child Care Centre - Toddler 1

Our Toddler 1 room can have 20 children per day, and follows a one educator to 4 children ratio. The room encourages children to become increasingly involved in activities that foster a love of learning. Children are involved in a range of age-appropriate experiences such as art, music, movement and story-telling that aide development and encourage children to grow at their own pace.

The Toddler 1 team provide an educational program that focuses on encouraging independence, and the development of language, self-expression and fundamental social skills. Educators will provide children with resources and activities according to what they have observed, what the children have shown interest in and/or suggestions from families. There are core daily routine times, which are flexible when it comes to meals, sleep and play, giving children the opportunity to lead the routine and rest when they are tired.
